On Monday, March 24, Digital Week 2025 was opened in Latvia with a high-level expert discussion "Focus: Skills in the Digital Decade", which discussed Latvia's priorities in the field of digital transformation, taking into account the tasks set by the European Union's Digital Decade and the Latvian Digital Transformation Guidelines, as well as emphasizing aspects of digital security, artificial intelligence, and the development of future digital skills.
The opening event was attended by Inga BĒRZIŅA, Minister of Smart Administration and Regional Development, Signe BĀLIŅA, President of the Latvian Information and Communication Technology Association, Ģirts OZOLS, Chairman of the Board of the Latvian State Radio and Television Centre, and Sandra OZOLIŅA, Deputy Director of the Culture Information Systems Centre (CISC).
